Mini Writing Challenges
These writing challenge playlists have been created to make it easy for children to create some inspired writing. Suitable for KS1 to KS3.
Challenge #1: Write a book review
In this challenge, you’ll be tasked with writing a simple book review! Watch the introduction video, then watch a few examples made by other children.
You’ll need to write:
- An introduction
- A synopsis
- Your highlights
- A rating and summary

Challenge #2: Write a meditation
In this challenge, you’ll need to chill out and write a simple meditation! Watch the introduction video, then watch a few examples made by other children.
You’ll need to decide on a theme for your meditation, then write:
- An introduction
- How to prepare
- Guided instructions
- An ending
